Lisa is the Founding Dietitian of FEEDinc. She has more than 20 years experience in the health and fitness space, with a decade dedicated specifically to Nutrition and Dietetics.
Outside of menopause, Lisa has many interests and can support you. Due to her own dietary needs, Lisa has become a specialist in gut health. She has Coeliac Disease and loves helping people with intolerances, especially FODMAPs. She also has extensive experience helping hundreds of clients lose weight and keep it off long term.
Lisa adores working with children and has a gentle and nurturing manner. She was a highly regarded school teacher for ten years, so understands how children learn and respond to change. She loves helping families with ‘fussy eaters’ and is a Mum to two little ones.
She has broad experience in higher education, including teaching nutrition at ADFA, the University of Canberra and at CIT. She is the ACT Spokesperson for the Australian dietetics governing body, Dietitians Australia.
Lisa’s ability to communicate complex science in a simple way, allows clients to grasp their situation which motivates change. She loves helping people transform their health situation to feel their absolute best.
Lisa's food philosophy is quite simple. She believes in eating close to nature, but that doesn't mean you cannot enjoy the occasional treat. It's about 'making a date' with the decadent and never feeling guilty about food. After all, food is as much about pleasure as it is about nutrition.
Lisa is available on TUESDAYS.
